The world’s best athletes will descend on the nation’s capital as the Sainsbury's Anniversary Games takes place at The Stadium - Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on 26-28 July.

Considered one of the best IAAF Diamond League meets in the world, 2012 saw a host of British and international champions put in show-stopping performances. Double Olympic champion Mo Farah was a comfortable winner over 5,000m to the delight of the capacity crowd, while fellow British Olympic hero Christine Ohuruogu provided a stunning finale to the event with victory in the 400m.

Olympic champions from around the world are guaranteed to be out in force as well, with Australia’s 100m hurdles queen Sally Pearson and Americans Aries Merritt and Christian Taylor all gracing Crystal Palace in 2012.
