World Championship silver medallist Lisa Dobriskey warmed up in style for her Daegu adventure by marching to 1500m victory on the final day of the Aviva London Grand Prix action at Crystal Palace.

Dobriskey showed no ill effects of her back troubles to take an impressive victory, and claim revenge on teammate Hannah England, in south London. England had, for the second year running, claimed the UK title at the World Trials in Birmingham last week but it was Dobriskey who crossed the line first in Crystal Palace. more

Reigning Olympic 400m hurdles champion Angelo Taylor and Jamaican sprint star Yohan Blake have joined the star-studded line-up set to descend on Crystal Palace for the Aviva London Grand Prix this Friday.

With more than 40 Olympic and World medallists on show already, Taylor’s inclusion increases the count of reigning Olympic champions competing in the capital this weekend to 13, with ten current World champions also taking part in what will be the 12th leg of the Samsung Diamond League tour. more

World Junior champion Jodie Williams is hoping to build on her double European Under 23 Championships triumph when she makes her debut at the Aviva London Grand Prix this Friday.

The 17-year-old was star of the show in Tallinn last month where she added European Under 23 100m and 200m gold to the 100m World Junior title she won in Moncton last year. more

World number one hurdler David Oliver believes a sell-out crowd at next week’s Aviva London Grand Prix could set the stage for his maiden World title next month, but warned fans it’s now a race against time to secure seats for his clash with Olympic champion Dayron Robles and European and Commonwealth champion Andy Turner on 5 August.

The American record holder, also the third fastest hurdler of all time, is one of the favourites to land the coveted IAAF World Championship gold medal in Daegu next month after a whirlwind 15 months where he has won 32 out of 34 races. more

  The 800m Aviva Great Britain and Northern Ireland star will compete first at the Birmingham Alexander Stadium on 10 July, before venturing to the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre on 5-6 August. more
